How can we imagine a tourism that does not destroy what it lives on? This question is at the heart of the exhibition conceived by the Architekturzentrum Wien. Divided into eight chapters, it examines key aspects of tourism such as mobility, urban tourism, interactions with agriculture, climate change, the privatisation of natural beauty and the transformation of accommodation typologies. Above all, however, the exhibition looks for transformation potential and presents examples that whet the appetite for a type of holiday that no longer exclusively follows consumption and the growth paradigm.
