How are city dwellers allowed to use their city? The urban researcher Henri Lefebvre gives a clear answer to this in "The Right to the City": city dwellers have the right to politically appropriate urban resources. This includes the right to encounter, participation, exchange and the collective organisation and use of urban space. Where can we find places of appropriation and participation in Innsbruck? On this city walk with the Sub(kultur)archiv, we go on a search - and find them in the "Minattihalle", the ever-popular Hofgarten and the "Hexenhäusl", among others!
