The open-air cinema organised by cinematograph-leokino in the courtyard of the Zeughaus takes place this year from 1 to 31 August and once again offers a wide variety of programmes with films for every taste. In addition to audience favourites of the cinema year, exciting sports and nature films are on offer that will make the hearts of all outdoor fans beat faster when it comes to biking, climbing, surfing and impressive nature documentaries. Music lovers will also get their money's worth with films about Joan Baez, Bob Dylan, Led Zeppelin, Yoko Ono and John Lennon. We are also looking forward to specials such as JAWS - THE WHITE SHARK, POINT BREAK, GOOD MORNING VIETNAM and PIRATE RADIO - THE BOAT THAT ROCKED. Last but not least, in addition to our Open Air closing film by cult director Jim Jarmusch NIGHT ON EARTH, we will also be showing his film DOWN BY LAW this year and celebrating our 30th anniversary with this highlight from the 1995 Open Air programme.
