Secular cantatas & arias from the baroque operas composed for Innsbruck with the ensemble "vita & anima"

For this concert, we have selected works by Badia which bear witness to the fact that he was one of the outstanding representatives of Italian vocal art around 1700, including pieces from the opera L'Amazone corsara, composed for Innsbruck. The music is of a beguiling Italianità and deserves attention. Outstanding singers from the early music scene and the ensemble vita & anima under the direction of Peter Waldner will act as advocates for Badia.
