Synopsis:
Harriet finds herself in an unusual situation. She has had a bad experience in her marriage to Bob in South America and has separated from him. As a result, she has returned to England and now has two lovers, both of whom are married and who put up with her. In this way, she avoids the danger of one of them wanting to marry her. When she receives a visit from her childhood friend Anne from New Zealand, she explains to her how it is possible that Gordon and Alec have never met. A well-planned schedule and an imaginary mum have made sure of that. But that can't work in the long run. However, things become dicey and precarious when the two lovers are suddenly present together and face each other, but without the other realising who they are. When their wives turn up in search of the two missing men, the door is opened to great confusion and deception.
