Artist in residence: Lilee Imperator 2025

We are delighted to announce a special guest as the opening programme for the official closing of Coll:b am Hof. Lilee imperator, the Tyrolean artist with strong roots in street art and a penchant for large wall paintings or murals as they are also known in the trade, has been persuaded to move her studio to the picturesque inner courtyard of the Volkskunstmuseum for a day. While you can watch her create a painting, you also have the opportunity to take in a selection of her works in the cloister. As the crowning glory of this residency, we will present the resulting work at the closing event afterwards.
About Lilee Imperator:
Lilee Imperator is an artist from Tyrol with Nigerian roots who lives in France. Her large-format works - from canvas to mural - deal with identity and emotional space. With flowing lines, clear composition and a fine sense of colour, she makes the invisible visible and gives form to feelings. Her art invites us to encounter ourselves anew, gently and powerfully at the same time.
