On Saturday, 8 March, the big retro ski day took place once again in the St. Johann mountain railway ski area. The highlight of the day was a live concert with "The Monroes" at the valley station of the Eichenhof lifts.
Once again, everything revolved around the retro cult in the St. Johann ski area on Saturday 8 March. Retro skiers travelled from near and far to take part in the St. Johann Retro Ski Day. The St. Johanner Bergbahnen provided a special treat: skiers in retro outfits received a day ski pass for the retro price of 39 euros. Hundreds of retro skiers made the St. Johann ski area unsafe in fantastic weather and spring-like temperatures. This year, music and a great atmosphere were already guaranteed from 12:00 noon, as DJ Ramires provided retro sounds to get everyone dancing from lunchtime onwards. Another new highlight was the fun ski race, in which 96 starters took part for the first time. This was organised and hosted by the Eichenhof ski school. At 2 p.m., the rock'n'rollers from "The Monroes" fired up the party atmosphere at the valley station of the Eichenhof lifts.
