A week full of nature adventures, culinary delights and secret discoveries in the heart of Tyrol.
Leave everyday life behind on day 1, when all participants meet at the entrance to the Leutasch Valley. A guided welcome hike leads through blooming meadows and light forests and sets the mood for what is on the programme for the following days: Mindfulness, experiencing nature and marvelling together at what the mountains and valleys have in store. Of course, a cosy stop for refreshments is also a must.
On Monday, 2 June, the Leutasch originals Hans and Monika "Bantl" Neuner will take a small group on an exploration tour into the undergrowth. The two nature experts will provide an insight into their wide-ranging knowledge. Under their guidance, participants learn where to find the "gold of the forest" - edible fruit, mushrooms and valuable herbs.
On Tuesday, the day begins with a short warm-up hike, followed by an atmospheric breakfast over an open fire. Wednesday is all about practical knowledge: together we look for herbs, taste them and learn tips on how to use them in the kitchen and medicine cabinet.
On day 5, it's time to open your ears, eyes and above all your taste buds. On the way to the Hämmermoosalm, you will learn why the Gaistal valley is so close to divine paradise - and not just because of its great food. Day 6 explores the role that climate change plays in the constant transformation of flora and fauna.
On the last day, things get exciting once again: experimenting with burning glasses, participants explore what happens when the power of the sun hits the forest floor and plants in concentrated form. This is followed by a final discovery hike, during which the group swaps ideas one last time before the mountain spring days come to an atmospheric end with a stop for refreshments.
