Die Juni.Bluama.Zeit im Erlebnisraum Tiroler Oberland sorgte wie jedes Jahr für große Begeisterung

Updated 27.06.2023

As part of the June.Bluama.Zeit, the Tyrolean Oberland Tourism Association | Erlebnisraum Tiroler Oberland organised a whole series of events on the topics of meadows, herbs and our nature. In cooperation with many locals, courses, hikes, tours and tastings were offered.

Highlight events stood out in particular: the informative meadow cinema on 16 June 2023 in Ried and the meadow festival on 24 June 2023 at Lindenplatz in Ried. Unfortunately, the meadow cinema in Pfunds had to be postponed due to weather conditions - but it will be held again on 21 July 2023 in the open-air swimming pool in Pfunds.

Local associations provided excellent catering at the meadow cinema and meadow festival with their active support. The Ried music band prepared all kinds of delicious specialities at the meadow festival, from the tasty Wiesenburger to the classic Kaiserschmarrn. Blessed with a warm 25°C and fantastic sunshine, the festival could be enjoyed in a pleasant atmosphere. Homemade regional liqueurs and schnapps from the Schöpf family from Ried, as well as bags, bandanas and all kinds of self-sewn items from "SU/GI'S" delighted the guests. Fun pony rides (training stable Tanja Handle) as well as the interesting insect tours for families, led by biologist Christoph Stöckl, made children's hearts beat faster. But that was not all - DIE BERGBRAUER and VINUM FUNDUS were represented with locally produced beer and wine. So with every sip, a piece of the Tyrolean Oberland was tasted. Musical entertainment was also not neglected at the Wiesenfest: the festival opened with a twilight pint by the Tösens music band. Afterwards, the Rieder Gipfelstürmer provided the best atmosphere at the Lindenplatz.

Another June.Bluama.Zeit experience organised by the TVB Tiroler Oberland | Erlebnisraum Tiroler Oberland, was the meadow cinema in a cosy ambience, which took place in Ried in the castle garden of Sigmundsried Castle. Special thanks go to the Ried Theatre Association, which took care of the visitors' physical well-being. Three award-winning films of the INTERNATIONAL NATURE FESTIVAL were shown free of charge. Christoph Schranz, a state-certified mountain and ski guide from Ried im Oberinntal, then presented an exciting documentary about his numerous expeditions (schranzbuaba.at). The music group "Vintage Train" provided rousing entertainment beforehand.

Kurt Rietzler, board member of the Erlebnisraum Tiroler Oberland, draws an extremely satisfied balance: "The meadow month in the Tyrolean Oberland is focused on sustainability and appreciation of our impressive nature and mountain world. It is great when we can inspire locals and guests with this theme and when added tourist value can be combined in a beautiful way. We are already looking forward with confidence to Juni.Bluama.Zeit 2024."

And the next top events are already coming up. On Saturday, 8 July 2023, the 10th Midsummer Night's Dream will take place at the Ried bathing lake in cooperation with the Ried im Oberinntal fire brigade. The band "NOLIPSTIK" will provide the musical entertainment. The TVB and the Ried volunteer fire brigade look forward to welcoming numerous guests.
