DeutschlandRUSH / 6 Tage – 909 Kilometer – 11.000 Höhenmeter

Updated 29.08.2023

Simply cycling, enjoying the landscape, pushing yourself to the limit - and being looked after like a pro: the DeutschlandRUSH leads from Dortmund to Kirchberg in Tyrol in the Kitzbühel Alps from 2 to 7 September 2023. Six attractive stages with around 1,000 kilometres and 11,000 metres of altitude difference lie ahead of the starters. For the new edition, the course managers Eva Kruse and Heiko Janik have designed a new route this year - almost exclusively on secondary and country roads, the road cyclists will set off from the BVB Dortmund stadium on their way south.

The special thing about it: The DeutschlandRUSH is not a race. Instead of competing against each other, the riders fight as a team. So that the riders can concentrate fully on cycling, the landscape and their performance, the event organisers have put together a real all-round carefree package: accommodation with half board, route catering, luggage transport, equipment trolley and photo service - all included.

From Dortmund to the Kitzbühel Alps - Brixental. A unifying ride of a strong cooperation. The start and finish are fixed - the starting signal is given at the legendary Signal Iduna Park in Dortmund. The destination - the Kitzbühel Alps - Brixental.

The starting signal for the new DeutschlandRUSH will be given on the morning of 2 September at Signal Iduna Park, the legendary BVB stadium in Dortmund. From there, the route leads past the Lahn river and on to Udenhain. Passing the triathlon Mecca Roth , the riders head out of the Frankenhöhe Nature Park and further and further south. At least as impressive: the finish six days later. On 7 September, the peloton of the DeutschlandRUSH reaches the Kitzbüheler Alpen - Brixental region.
