In 2023, the Nightjet combo ticket "In the Nightjet into the mountains" will be available again. The common goal of the Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), the Tirol Tourist Board and komoot is to expand the rail offer to numerous Tyrolean tourist regions, including a relaxed arrival and return journey on ÖBB night trains.
Innsbruck, 31.03.2023 - ÖBB Rail Tours has been able to greatly expand its offer for 2023 and is now offering the Nightjet Combiticket for 23 Tyrolean tourist regions for the travel period 01 May to 31 October 2023. Included is the relaxed and climate-friendly journey with the modern ÖBB night train fleet and the transfer from the station to the accommodation and back with the Tyrolean station shuttle. ÖBB Rail Tours has once again been able to win komoot as a professional partner and can thus provide all guests with perfect suggestions for active mobility, such as hiking and cycling tours, together with the associated online and offline map material.

The Tirol Tourist Board, which has supported the project from the beginning, sees the offer as an important impulse for public travel. For more than ten years now, the regional tourism organisation has been working together with partners as part of the "Tirol auf Schiene" initiative to strengthen public transport: "The topic of sustainable travel is very close to our hearts. We are happy about every additional offer that helps us to bring even more guests by rail," emphasises Karin Seiler, Managing Director of the Tirol Tourist Board. "The 'Nightjet into the mountains' is a successful project because the product is convenient to book and takes into account the entire mobility chain - from the doorstep of the house to the doorstep of the hotel. This is an additional contribution to relieving Tyrol's roads and our climate, especially since guests can expect a comprehensive public transport offer in our province."
