The Winter Highlights, the joint project of Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn, the PillerseeTal tourism association and the municipality of Fieberbrunn, is entering its sixth edition with innovative ideas.

First Line, Last Line, a journey through time and a look behind the scenes: The Winter Highlights, the joint project of Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn, the PillerseeTal tourism association and the municipality of Fieberbrunn, is entering its sixth edition with innovative ideas. It's all about getting out into nature from early to late.

The First Line concept - i.e. taking the first turn on the freshly groomed piste before everyone else, including an impressive sunrise and breakfast on the mountain with regional specialities - was already very well received last year. Now the offer is being expanded with an almost logical consequence: In the 2022/23 winter season, the Last Linecan also be enjoyed in Fieberbrunn on four selected dates. The guided tour for a maximum of 50 people starts at the valley station and with the last ascent of the day, you head up to the Reckmoos mountain station, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the local mountains in the evening. After the descent into the Hörndlingergraben, a relaxed evening in the Pulvermacher Almhütte awaits with a three-course menu and live music. The well-known local trio "Brennholz" will kick things off on 6 January , the "Freddy Pfister Band" will heat things up on 10 February, the "Tegernseer Hüttenmusi " will get things going on 17 February and a real musical surprise highlight awaits on 3 March to round things off.

As with the First Line, the evening counterpart also focuses on regionality and local products. The Last Line package is rounded off with a taxi transfer that takes locals and guests back to the village after the unique experience.

Meanwhile, the First Line is entering its second round this winter: every Wednesday from 28 December, the skiing fun starts at the Bergbahnen Fieberbrunn for an exclusive group of up to 30 people at 7.30 am. Accompanied by local guides, the first turns can be made on the freshly groomed pistes. And while the actual skiing starts in the valley, participants can enjoy a regional breakfast in the Pulvermacher Almhütte.

With "Behind the Scenes", a new programme item awaits the "science busters" among the locals and guests. During a guided tour, specialists from the mountain railway team will take you on a tour of the snowmaking technology, where you can learn all about snow production, reservoirs and more. The guided tour of the snow groomer garage also includes the big machines. Such in-depth insights into the processes and technologies of a modern mountain railway have never been available in Fieberbrunn before.

Other weekly outdoor experiences in PillerseeTal such as a romantic lantern hike, cross-country skiing pleasure tour, children's play festival on the Buchensteinwand and much more round off the great winter offer in PillerseeTal. All information can be found at www.pillerseetal.at
