In the summer of 2022, the Paznaun village of Kappl is all about old Tyrolean craft traditions. Woodturning, carving and baking: The Paznaun - Ischgl Tourist Association, the municipality of Kappl and the Kappl Rural Youth will provide deep insights into the art of old craft techniques.
On a total of four dates in July and August, everything will once again revolve around old Tyrolean craft traditions on the village square in the municipality of Kappl. From 7 pm onwards, those interested can immerse themselves in rural culture - skills in farming, carpentry, carving and bread baking are presented. The freshly baked farmhouse bread and other regional delicacies are of course also available for purchase. Former mayor Josef Wechner will guide through the evenings and celebrate the techniques and skills. The "Kappler Dorfmusikanten" will provide the musical accompaniment.
The event is intended to raise awareness of old crafts and working techniques. While old traditions are given a new lease of life, guests have the opportunity to experience local culture and tradition live.
