Spiel & Spaß beim Familientag auf der Hohen Salve

Updated 08.10.2021

On Sunday, 03 October 2021, the Tyrolean lookout mountain Hohe Salve and its smaller sister, the Kleine Salve, were transformed into a true paradise for children.

At 11:00 a.m., the family day was musically opened by singer "LUMINYA" as Ice Queen Elsa, the highlight of the day. Afterwards, the Ice Queen was on the move all day at the summit on the Hohe Salve and gave the children and families unforgettable memories.

A colourful games programme with handicrafts and make-up stations, culinary highlights and exciting attractions such as the "HoLaRo" Punch and Judy show at Berggasthof Tenn and magician "Magic Armin" at the KRAFTalm also awaited young and old summit strikers. The fluffy llamas and alpacas were also back this year at Alpengasthof Rigi!

At the baking station of the Gipfelalm Hohe Salve, children could try their hand at making their own "Kiachl" and enjoy it. The playground "Salvi's Kraxxl Platzl" invited to play and romp.

At the summit of the Kleine Salve, various games, playground equipment and a children's face-painting station were available. Among the games were an oversized "four wins", pedalos course, fun worm, bobby cars, wooden skis for two and stilts.

Balance and dexterity were in demand at the balance course at the low ropes course "Salvista-Garten" at the valley station of the Salvistabahn in Itter.

The Hohe Salve cable car in Hopfgarten and the Salvista cable car in Itter comfortably brought guests a little closer to heaven on Family Day. And at unbeatable prices! Because on Family Day, everyone got their day ticket for half price!

The Hohe Salve Tourism Association in the Kitzbühel Alps would like to thank all the guests, both young and old, for taking part, and all the innkeepers, helpers and co-organisers for their active support, and is already looking forward to next year. One thing is certain: there will be more!
