Musical highlights from regional and well-known groups at the Ischgl church concerts this summer

From 2 July to 25 August this summer, the Ischgl Church Concerts will once again take place in the parish church of St. Nikolaus with many musical highlights from different eras.

Renowned regional artists and ensembles will present a varied musical programme on a total of nine evenings in the "Ischgl Church Concerts" concert series. The concert series kicks off on 2 July 2021 with Ischgl-born Daniel Kurz, who has already performed with various renowned orchestras, playing the Quintet for Clarinet and String Quartet in A major KV 581 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1789), a masterpiece of chamber music and one of the most important compositions for clarinet, together with friends. On 7 July, ensembles from the Ischgl Music Band will perform and create a varied summer evening of chamber music. An atmospheric musical evening is guaranteed with the brass ensemble "Brass Selection" on 13 July. On 21 July, the vocal ensemble "Cantilena Tyrolensia" from Völs will delight audiences with their singing and guitar sounds. On 26 July, ensembles from the Musikkappelle Stanz will perform. Kappl-born organist Philipp Stark plays an organ concert under the motto "Baroque Sounds" on 4 August. On 11 August, the audience will have another opportunity to hear Philipp Stark together with Franziska Zangerle from Galtür in a concert for oboe and organ. On 18 August, the "Klangwelle Kauns", a 25-member youth choir from the Tyrolean Oberland, will perform. The concert series will be rounded off on 25 August with the newly founded woodwind group "Ischgl Woodwinds".

Admission to the Ischgl church concerts is free - the parish church of St. Nikolaus is happy to receive a voluntary donation.
