Once again, the MCI's tourism study programmes have performed excellently in the recently published THE-ICE Student Barometer 2018. MCI students are more satisfied than average with their university and are happy to recommend it to others.
The survey shows excellent scores for the MCI's tourism study programs in all categories. The Entrepreneurial University® scores particularly well in the area of teaching, for example with regard to the level of lecturers, the quality of courses, group size and learning spaces. The study programmes consistently achieve top rankings in the area of "Living Experience", where the campus, the sports facilities and the safety at the place of study are particularly emphasised. The support and supervision at the MCI during the course of study were also rated very highly.
"The result is a wonderful accolade for MCI Tourism and motivates us to continue on our path," says Hubert Siller, head of MCI Tourism
The Student Barometer is an annual survey of almost 12,000 tourism students from the member network of the International Centre of Excellence in Tourism and Hospitality Education (THE-ICE) from top tourism universities around the world. The survey results do not represent a ranking in the conventional sense, but provide comparisons and benchmarks that give universities valuable indications of their strengths and potential for further development.
