Women have never been heard like this before: WOMAN is a worldwide project that gives a voice to 2000 women in 50 different countries.

The result is an intimate portrait of those who make up half of humanity. All the injustices women face around the world are brought to light. But what WOMAN highlights most is the immense strength of women. This strength and their ability to change the world for the better despite all obstacles and injustices is touching, inspiring and encouraging. In this new era, where women's voices are becoming louder and louder, the aim of the film is not just to demand rights or to focus on the problems, but to finally make women's voices heard, to find solutions and to ensure that women are never again seen as the "weaker sex".

In WOMAN, women tell their touching, remarkable and inspiring stories, talk about motherhood, education, sexuality, marriage or financial independence, and about taboo subjects like menstruation and domestic violence. Hundreds of stories come together, from women heads of state and farmers, from beauty queens and bus drivers, stories of women from the most remote regions of the world and from the most modern metropolises. WOMAN has thus succeeded in painting a comprehensive picture of what it means to be a woman in today's world.
