Wilten vermessen 2023

Surveying a neighbourhood in an artistic way. Walking through it, questioning it and exploring its external and internal structures. Together with residents and users, the history, present and future of the location is traced. In the process, personal narratives are mixed with visual experiences and overlap with the existing physical space. Wilten vermessen is an open invitation to everyone to experience the place in a new way, to enter into dialogue with it and with others.

What does a neighbourhood sound like? What sounds can be captured in Wilten? How can the transmitted sound waves be experienced?
The vibrations of Wilten will be traced in exploratory tours, sound experiments and sound games. The event ends at 19:30 with music and street noises at the Grassmayr crossroads.

Sensing surfaces and making them visible. In a performative walk through the district, the district structure is recorded, torn open and reassembled piece by piece.

What does Wilten taste like? At the exclusive breakfast, flavourful connections are interwoven with the findings of the previous day. The participants determine the recipe for this culinary exchange with their individual contributions.
