Wie verwende ich KI? KI-Schnupperworkshop für Einsteiger:innen 2024
DiSCussion on the topic:
How do I use AI?
AI taster workshop for beginners
Wednesday, 5 June 2024, 6:00 pm to max. 9:00 pm
Registration required! Max. 30 participants. Admission is free.
This interactive workshop will introduce you to the world of generative AI. Generative AI is a form of artificial intelligence (AI) that can generate content based on training data. With the help of text input, so-called prompts, users can generate text and images or even speech, music and videos, for example.
The workshop provides a practice-orientated introduction to selected application areas of generative AI. We will address questions that inevitably arise when using this type of AI: How reliable are the outputs of the AI? What do I need to look out for to recognise whether certain content has been generated synthetically? What happens to my data? We will discuss these and other questions with you and show you some examples. You will also have the opportunity to experiment with selected AI applications yourself under supervision and exchange ideas with the other participants.
No special prior knowledge is required, but you should be familiar with the use of digital devices. As the number of participants is limited to 30, please register in good time by 2 June using the registration form on our event website: https://www.uibk.ac.at/de/events/info/2024/discussion-ki/
We look forward to seeing you!
The Digital Science Center (DiSC) was founded at the beginning of 2019 with the aim of promoting the digitalisation of science and exploring new research directions. The DiSCussion lecture series was created to promote dialogue between science and society. It is currently dedicated to the key topic of AI and is co-organised by the Office of the Vice-Rector for Digitalisation and Sustainability. The event is also supported by the Science and Responsibility Association.
