Special exhibition "From Michelangelo to

The oldest art academy in the world - the Accademia delle Arti del Disegno - which was founded in Florence in 1563, and the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, which has been one of the most innovative international training centres for the visual arts since the 1970s, are dealing with the complex process of becoming artists in the past and present in the special exhibition "Becoming". The verb "to become" is used to present different parameters, perceptions and processes of a permanent becoming of the artistic - but oriented towards the institutional ambience of the art academy.
