"The benefits and dangers of water" 1st International Resource Conference European Region Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino
Discussions about the benefits and dangers of water are more topical than ever. Floods are in the news almost every day. So do reports of water shortages. Therefore, a scientific analysis of this resource appears to be extremely important. The First International Resource Conference of the European Region Tyrol-South Tyrol-Trentino brings together scientists from Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy to shed light on water as a resource from antiquity to the 20th century. Questions on "Water as a border - water in language - water as a raw material", "Water and traffic", "Water as a means of transport", "Regulation of rivers" and "Water and mining" are at the centre of the project. All interested parties are welcome to attend the congress and take part in the discussions. Participation is free of charge.
