VALLAZZA, FRIENDS & MORE 2023

In our first autumn exhibition, we are showing a selection of high-quality works by the South Tyrolean graphic artist and painter Markus Vallazza, complemented by works by companions and colleagues from this important generation of artists for Tyrol. The majority of Vallazza's works on display come from the Krings private collection in Augsburg - just like Walter Nagl's works, which were successfully exhibited in the spring. The smaller part of their collection also demonstrates the excellent eye of the collector couple Klaus and Regina Krings, who regularly accompanied Vallazza in Bolzano as well as during his time in Augsburg (1982-85). In addition to sheets from the well-known prints, the selection also includes outstanding (watercolour) ink drawings, one of the rare flower still lifes, as well as an extremely charming Venetian motif in tempera.
