Can utopia be a common space? Or is it a multitude of parallel realities? Is it perhaps a complexity of both, in which multiplicity, dissonance, coexistence, sovereignty, subversion, consent and trust are to be negotiated? In μtopia, Milena Georgieva together with Magdalena Forster, Kenneth Constance Loe and Klimentina Li explore a shared multiverse: real and virtual, lost and found, internal and external, all-encompassing and pervasive, a queer space and a space of queerness. As different characters, they change and morph into each other like loops. The performers navigate different forms of experienced reality through sound, text, performance and projection, creating a guided experience that oscillates between parallelism and encounter. In the course of the performance, the tools at our disposal are explored and, loop by loop, the feelers expand in exchange, allowing us to trace μtopia.
