Traditioneller Nikolauseinzug 2025

The traditional procession of St. Nicholas from the parish church of St. Nicholas to the cathedral has been taking place every year on 5 December for 75 years.
At 5.00 pm, the procession sets off from St Nicholas' parish church and a host of angels and shepherds accompany St Nicholas on his way. To shorten the waiting time in front of the cathedral until the arrival of St Nicholas(approx. 5.45 pm), the choir of the Innsbruck music secondary school and the Mariahilf brass band perform Christmas carols. St Nicholas will be received by the bishop.
