World premiere of the theatre play "Geträumt wird in Fetzen!"
The play deals with the future dreams of aspiring young artists, unmasking and questioning the capitalist construct of cultural institutions with plenty of humour and a wink.
A group of novice actors gather in a venerable theatre to audition for the leading roles in the new production.
The young artists are a colourful mix of different characters - from hopeless go-getters and lively whirlwinds to cool socks with identity crises.
The upcoming audition turns the young artists into fierce competitors. While they wait for their big performance on the sparsely equipped rehearsal stage, the audience witnesses identity crises, arguments, deeptalk, life lessons and plenty of humour.
Can the young artists overcome the competition between them to ultimately realise their dreams?
"Geträumt wird in Fetzen!" is performed in the Halle Bartlmä, which captivates with its incomparable, raw charm and invites the audience into a different, somewhat more anarchistic world as soon as they enter. The venue, far removed from conventional theatre stages, promises an unforgettable evening.
"Geträumt wird in Fetzen!" is a play developed by Kronberger & Kronberger based on interviews and the dream roles of the performers.
