Tag der internationalen Zusammenarbeit 2023
NoneMan-made global warming is becoming ever more drastic. However, not all countries are feeling the effects equally. Although industrialised countries are the main emitters of climate-damaging greenhouse gases, climate change is hitting the countries of the Global South the hardest.
This makes the issue of global climate justice all the more important. On the "Day of International Cooperation", experts will discuss topics such as climate justice, climate migration and measures to adapt to global warming with participants in four parallel workshops from 2 pm to 5 pm.
As part of the subsequent public evening event from 6.30 pm, visitors can expect key notes from Katharina Rogenhofer (co-initiator of the climate referendum) and Susan Nanduddu (activist from Uganda, participant in COP 27) as well as an exciting panel discussion.
Let's talk about the role and responsibility of international cooperation in the fight against climate change - and about the contribution we can make.
If you have any questions about the event, please contact Mr Christian Drechsler from the South Tyrol, European Region and External Relations Department of the Province of Tyrol (christian.drechsler@tirol.gv.at).
