Since childhood, lovable Tad Stones has dreamed of exploring the world as an archaeologist and treasure hunter. Tad accidentally destroys a rare sarcophagus, triggering an ancient spell that puts the lives of his best friends Mummy, a fun-loving, clumsy Inca mummy, Jeff, his dog and loyal companion, and Belzoni, a cranky parrot, in mighty danger. The only one who believes in him now is the renowned archaeologist and his secret crush Sarah. Joining forces, Tad and his friends race against time and embark on an action-packed chase for the magical emerald tablet that takes them from Mexico to Chicago and on to Egypt via Paris.
