Stefanie Sargnagel, "the most important Austrian author of the 21st century" (VICE, 2013), laconic, satirical, feminist, melancholic or simply banal. She breaks all genre boundaries and achieves something on paths never trodden that is often hilarious and sometimes simply tragic.


Status messages, these are collected Facebook entries that Stefanie Sargnagel wrote during her time as a call centre employee and art student. The praesent Theatre is bringing Status Messages to the theatre stage for the first time in a world premiere.
