Gloucester, a small harbour town in the US state of Massachusetts, 2008: At least 17 underage students at the local high school enter into a 'pregnancy pact' and become pregnant almost simultaneously. The school nurse uncovers the girls' conspiracy. Parents, teachers and the press are horrified: What moved the students to plan such early pregnancies? The play challenges norms and prejudices, takes the young people seriously and shows them fragile, yet with an unbroken love of life and the unique and irretrievable feeling of being seventeen. in 2014, the play was awarded the "STELLA*14 "Performing.Arts.Prize for Young Audiences as the best youth play. Now Kühne Bühne, with nine young people aged 15-21, will be showing the play at BRUX / Freies Theater Innsbruck from 14 May 2022
