Schellenschlagen & Kiagras mahn in Lans 2024

Nonsensical Thursday - Lans is upside down for a day!

On Nonsensical Thursday, the Schellenschlager parade through the village behind the "Vorhupfer" to drive out the winter with the rhythmic sound of the large cowbells. In the morning, men dressed as farmers walk through the village to "Kiagras mahn" (mow grass for cows). Drivers should be careful, otherwise they might end up with a load of hay inside their car.
