The eccentric and uniquely gifted British wizard Newt Scamander explores magical creatures all over the planet. In his inconspicuous suitcase, but enlarged by magic on the inside, he houses an entire collection of rare and endangered magical creatures along with their habitats. in 1926, he finally travels to the magic-phobic America. He quickly realises that the magical community in the USA is literally hiding from the No-Maj (aka Muggles). And the wizards and witches there are even more concerned about the public revelation of magic than in the UK. On the spot, he meets the righteous Porpetina "Tina" Goldstein, an employee of the Magical Congress of the United States of America, or MACUSA for short. When a variety of his sometimes dangerous creatures come out of his suitcase, chaos is the order of the day.
