The powerful Dark Wizard Gellert Grindelwald has been arrested by MACUSA (the Magical Congress of the United States of America) with the help of Newt Scamander. But Grindelwald escapes and gathers an entourage unaware of his true plans: the rule of pure-blooded wizards over all non-magical beings. To thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore turns to his former student Newt Scamander, who pledges his help, unaware of the dangers. Love and loyalty are put to the test, and even between best friends and in families, more and more divisions arise in the magical world.
