Palm consecration at the school square! Followed by a procession to the church. Palm Sunday custom: on the Sunday before Easter Sunday in remembrance of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem. The church ceremony includes the consecration of the palm bushes and the procession. Bundles of willow branches, boxwood and other materials (palm bushes, slats, trees, brooms, etc.) are decorated with ribbons, pretzels, etc. and attached to a stick or pole (0.5 - 10 metres).
