Orchesterkonzert 2024

On Friday, 31 May 2024 at 6.00 pm, two youth orchestras will perform at the Haus der Musik: the Filderstadt Music School Youth Symphony Orchestra under the direction of Robert Wieland and the "Crescendo" Youth Orchestra from the Innsbruck Music School under the direction of David Arroyabe. For the concert, the ensembles have chosen a varied programme with works from the baroque, classical, romantic and contemporary periods. Compositions by Antonio Vivaldi, William Boyce, Joseph Haydn, Johann Stamitz, Gioacchino Rossini, Peter Tchaikovsky, Johannes Brahms, Leroy Anderson and Thiemo Kraas will be performed. The soloists are Clara Richard-Kömen (clarinet), Bruno Schumacher (cello), Adrian Jöchner and Jules Richard-Kömen (trumpets). In "Trepak" from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite, arranged by Sandra Dackow, "Blue Tango" by Leroy Anderson, arranged by Chris M. Bernotas and "Little Opening", composed by Thiemo Kraas and arranged by music school director Wolfram Rosenberger, both ensembles will unite to form a large orchestra on stage.
