Matinee/Frühjahrskonzert Stadtmusikkapelle Igls-Vill 2024

The Stadtmusikkapelle Igls-Vill under the direction of Kapellmeister Klaus Graf welcomes spring with a colourful programme at a matinee on 21.04.2024 from 11.00 am in the Congresspark Igls. After two pieces by the young band BinA, majestic fanfares meet contemplative melodies. And while flying dragons are tamed in the film score to "How to train your Dragon", soloist Gabriel Gritsch's fingers fly over the valves in the "Slavic Fantasy". Furthermore, four pieces by Europeans juxtapose the countries of Belgium, Germany, the Czech Republic and England. On the other hand, four pieces from America explore the tonal differences between the composer Aaron Copland and the composer Floronce B. Price.
