Kat Valdez and her partner Bastian are the new musical superstars. Their new hit "Marry me" is storming the charts and everything looks perfect in their private lives too: their upcoming wedding is to be broadcast live worldwide. But just seconds before the start of the ceremony, Kat learns that Bastian is cheating on her with her assistant. At that moment her eyes meet the maths teacher Charlie - and impulsively Kat decides that the planned wedding will go ahead - only with Charlie as her husband! An unexpected romance develops from this hasty act, but it soon proves that Kat's and Charlie's lives are miles apart. Will they both manage to maintain their love despite everything?
