The touching and gripping story of someone who rebels against a world where money rules. At the end of the 1960s, Elias, a young man from the Zillertal, decides against the profit-oriented society and for a radical life in harmony with nature. He moves far up into the mountains, where wilderness and solitude await him. After years, an illness forces him back to civilisation. Based on a play by Felix Mitterer.
