Madison – Bikes, Boys & Berge 2021

Madison is a young girl, super sporty, energetic and ambitious. Cycling is her passion and she does everything she can to emulate her father, the successful professional cyclist Timo. Due to an unfortunate incident, she has to leave the training camp and unintentionally finds herself in the Tyrolean mountains, where her mother Katharina teaches yoga during the holidays. This is not how she had imagined her summer: A completely different area, new people and then mountain bikes instead of racing bikes! Her everyday life is completely thrown into a tailspin. But with the help of her new friends Vicky and Jo, Madison discovers new goals off the beaten (cycling) track and plunges unchecked into an unforgettable summer adventure.

For director Kim Strobl, telling Madison's story is a matter of the heart: Even "from an early age, people ask you what you want to be when you grow up. And if you - like Madison - are extremely determined, almost stubborn, then you often pursue your goal for years without stopping to ask yourself: do I still want this at all? Or am I closing myself off to something new out of fear?"
