The room is a cardboard box. In it stools, a cloth, a candle. Three women in irritating institutional clothing enter an unreal world. Here in this sitting circle with a designed centre, they are to be helped: In a group therapy programme for women who have decided against their pregnancy. While they wait for the session to begin, they start talking. Where does self-determination over their lives end, where does society's right to pass judgement on them begin? Everything can be said here, they say. The box with a designed centre: their safe space. Whether the women perceive it as such is doubtful.
