After moving from the country to the city, little Laura feels alone and not at home. She soon finds the confidence to deal with the situation in the extraterrestrial power of a star that has fallen from the sky. One of the star's spikes breaks off as it falls. Laura tends to it with a plaster and offers it a place to sleep in her bed. The two become friends.
