Kuratorenführung zur Ausstellung „Im Aufbruch. Innsbruck wird Residenzstadt“ 2023

in 1420 Duke Friedrich IV ("Friedl with the empty pocket") acquired two town houses in what is now Innsbruck's old town and moved the sovereign residence to the city. This brought the court of the sovereign and the provincial administration to Innsbruck, with significant consequences for the development of the city. Follow the development of the city from the 12th to the 17th century with the help of original documents, starting with the first preserved confirmation of Innsbruck's town charter from 1239, as well as works by the artists and craftsmen who were drawn to the sovereign court.
