A long-standing tradition in Axams!
The traditional and largest church market in Tyrol is held in Axams on church Monday. Many so-called "travelling traders" are spread throughout the village centre with their "sales stalls" and loudly offer their colourful range of goods. Of course, it is also possible to "bargain" for prices. Another long-standing culinary tradition at the Axamer Kirchtagsmarkt is the original "Axamer Beusch'l-Essen", which is offered in all Axamer restaurants on this day, along with many other delicacies.
The colourful market hustle and bustle starts at 08.00 and lasts until around 16.00.
