As a child, Yuta Okkotsu had to watch his girlfriend Rika Orimoto die in an accident. Since then she has haunted him as a curse. Yuta even wishes for his own death until the strongest jujuzist, Satoru Gojo, takes him in at the Tokyo Municipal Jujutsu Academy. With new courage to face life and his fellow students Maki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki and Panda, Yuta wants to finally break the curse.
