Journalismusfest Innsbruck 2022

The Innsbruck Journalism Festival - International Information Days has a history. Its roots lie in Ferrara. In the bicycle city in the Po Valley, the Italian weekly magazine Internazionale has been organising a festival open to everyone since 2007 with journalists from all over the world and other knowledgeable mediators of information.

A few years ago, the idea arose in Ferrara to found a similar festival in Innsbruck. The exchange with those responsible for the Ferrara Festival and with the editors of the weekly magazine was always open and supportive. Without Internazionale a Ferrara, the Innsbruck Journalism Festival would probably not exist.

The International Days of Information in Innsbruck are supported by a non-profit association whose name should also be a self-chosen mission: Journalismusfest Innsbruck - Association for the Strengthening of Quality Journalism, Freedom of Information and Democracy.
