At the market square, a movable nativity scene delights with daily free performances that last about 25 minutes
The Jaufenthaler nativity scene was donated by its eponymous owner. The technical marvel is a gift to all children and creates great anticipation during Advent. 15 motors move 28 figures, drive a waterfall and ring church bells. A Christmas world comes to life!

Exciting attractions and the homely atmosphere make this market an experience for the whole family. A nostalgic carousel, trusting ponies and a Punch and Judy show delight the little visitors, while their adult companions can discover alternative crafts, Christmas products and down-to-earth delicacies at over 60 stalls. A sparkling eye-catcher in the middle of the rustic market: the 14-metre-high Swarovski crystal tree made of thousands of glittering little stones.... which rises up like something out of a fairytale and forms the centre of the market
