HERMANN ERLACH
General Manager & CEO, Microsoft Austria, Vienna

Born in East Tyrol, Hermann Erlach has been a member of the Executive Board since 2015 and General Manager and CEO of Microsoft Austria since 2021. His goal is to drive forward the modernisation and digitalisation of the location and make this progress a positive experience for all Austrians.
Before joining Microsoft, Hermann Erlach held numerous management positions at international management consultancies such as Capgemini Consulting and Booz & Company.
In 2008, he moved to SAP, where he held important management positions in numerous areas. He completed his degree in Engineering and Industrial Management at the Joanneum in Graz. After several years in international consulting projects, he completed a part-time MBA/MSc programme at the Danube University Krems/UBC Vancouver.
