Hindurch – Tanz von und mit Tamara Maksymenko 2023

In the dance theatre piece "Hindurch", a Ukrainian woman talks about the Russian invasion of Ukraine (which also touches her life) and tries to explore what it means to be confronted with separation, fear, loneliness, frustration and anger as a human being in Ukraine. Can a dance piece heal people's grief - or can we at least "speak" about the war through dance art? After the performance there will be the opportunity to speak directly with the artists (discussion led by Thomas Mettler and Tamara Maksymenko).
The discussion will deal with the current situation in Ukraine and the question of how people in Ukraine (women, dancers, artists, authors) are currently fighting and campaigning for peace.
