Hans-Walter Müller: Ich habe die Schwerkraft schon verlassen 2022

The architect, engineer and artist Hans-Walter Müller may not have invented inflatable architecture, but he has devoted almost his entire life to it and created an incredible oeuvre in the process. For more than 50 years, he has created inflatable volumes for such diverse uses as exhibitions, festivals, theatre and concert performances, but also for a temporary shopping centre or a central contact point for refugees. And for the past 50 years, he himself has lived in one of his volumes in La Ferté-Alais near Paris. The exhibition offers an insight into the work of this pioneer of building with air with photographs, films and objects, as well as a volume specially developed for our rooms with sound and projection.
