Glassboy

Eleven-year-old Pino suffers from a life-threatening form of haemophilia and is not allowed to leave the house. When he gets the chance to become part of a gang of children, he begins to fight for his freedom. With tremendous courage, he challenges his physical limits, defies his parents' fear and his grandmother's eccentric beliefs and shows them that he has the right to live like everyone else.

A wonderful film that shows that friendship and solidarity make you strong. As a group you are stronger than alone. And not only that: also happier. The children's gang, the togetherness, the standing up for each other make you happy and courage can be learned in a group.
