To rave about one's own youth, one has to be one thing above all: long since grown up. Franz Fröstl (Jossi Jantschitsch) is nine years old, goes to school in Vienna and he knows: it's not easy being a child. Firstly, he is smaller than the other children. And secondly, his voice gets very high and squeaky when he gets upset. You definitely don't belong to the cool kids at school. You don't have to be, say Mum (Ursula Strauss) and Dad (Simon Schwarz). But do parents have any idea what it's like to be teased in class all the time? When you lose your voice in front of the strict teacher Zickzack (Rainer Egger)? At least they stand united behind him against the controlling neighbour's fox Mrs Berger (Maria Bill). But sometimes you just have to know how to help yourself. When Franz discovers the 10-step programme of influencer Hank Haberer (Philipp Dornauer) on the internet, the solution seems to have been found: You just have to be trained, less sweet, do your thing and you'll be a real guy!

But Franz's best friend, the clever Gabi (Nora Reidinger) and his school friend Eberhard (Leo Wacha) have known for a long time: There is no need for a new Franz, because he is great enough the way he is. But before they can do that, they have to have a real fight. The trio's friendship ends up in the cellar, temporarily...
